The word on the course.
How golfers talk about it, summarized from public reviews. Their opinions, not our scoring.
A 27-hole resort club in central Scottsdale that golfers describe as lush, oasis-style parkland rather than desert golf, with three distinct nines. The Dunes is shorter and dogleg-heavy; the Arroyo plays longer with water and tighter, sidehill lies.
Consistently praised
- Consistently excellent, tournament-ready conditioning.
- Three distinct nines for variety, plus a polished clubhouse and good pace.
Worth knowing
- Green parkland golf, not desert; the Arroyo’s water and sidehill lies make it the tougher half.
Golfers recommend
- The Dunes is full of doglegs with no straight tee shots, so prioritize position.
- Bring your best ball-striking for the Arroyo nine.
