The word on the course.
How golfers talk about it, summarized from public reviews. Their opinions, not our scoring.
A landmark early Weiskopf/Morrish desert design with real elevation change, wide fairways and big greens that make it fun across handicaps, while rugged desert transition areas punish misses. The back nine, especially 11 to 16, is widely called one of the best in the state.
Consistently praised
- A standout back nine and the dramatic short par-3 15th in the foothills.
- Wide fairways and large greens make it playable and fun for most handicaps.
Worth knowing
- Rugged desert transition areas heavily penalize shots that miss the short grass; private access.
Golfers recommend
- Water concentrates on the last three holes of the front; the back is dry.
- Play runs through membership or a member host.
